Coach's Corner

Storm Team,

On Fire.... That pretty much sums up Saturday's races for you athletes.  Every age group was represented well, and every athlete really knocked it out of the park!  I am sure proud of each of you, this was supposed to be a slower course with the grass and that long uphill, but I think I saw more pr's than ever.  I can't wait for our last meet at Central Park!   Remember, this week will award top 6 in each division, so come out there ready to race!  Coach David and I will be laying out the course and it is sure to be a fun one with the new hills!!

So this is it, we wind down the season with one final week of practice.  One final week of fun, one final week of hills, sweat, the team...  I am amazed each season how much faster it goes.  I hope you all have had a great time this year, and I hope all of you are planning to come out next year for track and then cross-country again.  In the meantime, let's enjoy this last week of practice and the one final race.  It won't be a terribly difficult week by normal standards, but keep working hard to the end.  Keep resting well, keep the vitamins in you and stay healthy!!

Just a reminder to the midget and youth athletes, I will be providing coaching during the winter.  Every Thursday night we'll meet at COC from 6-7:30.  Please email me if you are interested or planning to attend.  Again, the cost will be minimal and I will provide more information when you contact me.Thanks for a great year,Coach Jeremy

Enjoy your day and week!
Coach Jeremy
