													Dear Alan,

													Parents, Coaches and Amazing
													Athletes:

What a morning of racing out
													at Pierce College!  You guys
													are really looking amazing,
													you're blowing me away.  I
													hope you athletes realize
													how great you are doing.
													Your hard work is continuing
to pay off and I can see the
													confidence growing in each
													of you every day.

													How about some breakout
													performances from Kaylee
													Thompson, my very own Aubree
													Stepan, and all the first
time racers out there.  I am
													very proud to be working
													with such an incredible
													group of kids and parents.

													This week, we will continue
													to push with more hills,
													longer this week, as we
													build.  We'll have 2 more
													weeks to gain strength
before we cut it back to
													fine tune the legs just
													before MT. SAC.
													Corriganville is this week.
NO MAJOR HILLS for all ages
except Youth.  This is a fun
													course and usually pretty
													fast.  Gradual long uphill,
													and downhill.  Somewhat of a
													windy course through big oak
													trees so overall I think
it's just a fun course that
													all of you will enjoy.
													After another hard week of
workouts it's going to be a
walk in the park for you!

													A couple things to remember
at this point in the season:
													don't slack on stretching
													[stretch at home], eat well,
if you have sore muscles ask
your mom or dad to give you
a little rub down with some
													icey hot or something like
that, sleep well, and did I
													mention stretching.  Keep
													your vitamins in you,
													especially vitamin c.  You
don't want to get sick now.

Thanks to all that came to
													the nutrition seminar.  The
													feedback I have received has
													been positive and I wanted
													to touch on a couple
													highlights for everyone:

													1. Not all sports
													nutritional supplements are
													created equal, you have to
													know that what you are
putting in your body is the
													best quality and not
													genetically modified, and
													backed by clinical studies.

													2. You need to plan out your
													eating and drinking, every
													day.  For before, during and
													after training and racing.
													Don't forget about recovery
after a big workout or race.

													3. I use the very best
													sports nutritional
													supplements out there.  Ask
													me about them and I'll
													provide you with
													information.  You can check
													them out at my website:

													Thanks again for being so
													great and get ready for
													another awesome week!
