Congratulations on adding Mt SAC to your running resume...This is a very difficult course and you should be proud of what you accomplished today...It was another great week of outstanding team performance and even more exciting individual performance...

We're officially half-way through the regular season now and just two meets away from the League Finals...For those athletes not competing in post-season, this will be the last week of very intense track work before we begin to taper for League Finals...Here's what the week will look like...

MONDAY- 6pm @ Bridgeport Park

Tonight will be an easy run...Easy means conversational...We just want to shake out after Sunday's very difficult race...

TUESDAY- 6pm @ Saugus High Track

This is where the breakthrough performances are coming from...If you can make only one practice a week, try and make it this one...The rest of our courses will be relatively flat and fast...The track is the place to work on your foot speed...We're also on the verge of some great pack running across the age groups so make sure to be here tonight so we can fine-tune our pack running skills for the Championship season!

THURSDAY- 6pm @ Central Park

This will be a tempo night...This is the night to feel strong before heading off to Saturday's meet...Remember, tempo running is not as quick as race pace, but not conversational either...

Congratulations on another great weekend...Looking forward to another week of good work...Until then...

Yours in Running,

Coach Darren
