I hope everyone had a
great holiday weekend.
Next Monday is the
Lap-a-thon at
Saugus High school, at
6:00 pm, I am taking
song requests, please
send me an email with
your requests.
Parents, we still need
you to bring your camera
to practice, If you
could put your pictures
onto a CD disk or check
out one of the thumb
drives, so we can put
them together for the
end of season DVD video.

Lap-a-thon
Our lap-a-thon is
scheduled for September
8, at Saugus High
School, This is our
primary fund raiser
event, This fund raiser
helps us keep our price
low, allows us to offer
scholarships, and assist
our athletes in national
competition.
We ask every family to
seek pledges either
by flat rate or a per
lap donation. The
athletes run 1 hour,
later they return to
their donors and collect
their pledges to turn in
by the dead line.
We will award a grand
prize of Disneyland park
hopper tickets to the
athlete who raises the
most funds. Every
athlete who raises
$40.00 will also win a
prize.
The deadline to be
eligible for the grand
prize is October 7th.
Athletes who raise
$40.00 or more will
still be eligible to win
a lap-a-thon prize even
if they turn in the
funds after October 7th.
Song Requests: We
are taking requests. If
you have a song you want
to hear during the
lap-a-thon, please let
me an email so I can
make sure I have it, *
We may not be able to
get to all songs
requested.

Turn In Your Pictures
I need you to bring a
digital camera to
practices, lap-a-thon,
and meets, so we can
catch the kids working
out. I'm also uploading
those pictures to a
website for sharing, we
will be using those
pictures for the memory
DVD. Please burn them to
a CD. or see Elaine or
Alan to check out a
thumb drive to put them
on.
A New slide show will go
up as we get more
pictures. Check the
website to see the show.
I am also looking for
people who have digital
video camera so we can
add some moving pictures
to the DVD, please bring
them to practice and to
the meets, which are
coming up in a couple of
weeks.
