I hope everyone had a
chance to rest up this
weekend and prepared to
enter final phase of our
season over the coming 4
weeks. Coach Jeremy
will be preparing
workouts that will help
our athletes be ready to
achieve their best
performances next
weekend at Mt Sac and
the following week at
the League Finals.
If you do not
pre-register the
athletes for Mt Sac on
Monday or Tuesday we
will assume they will
not be competing on
Sunday.
Just a reminder that
this Tuesday we will
have running clinic from
special guest Kirk
Nelson, a professional
Triathlete and winner of
Saturdays Magic Mountain
Man Inaugural Half
Ironman Triathlon.
Also, a note to families
with athletes that have
been place in the top 10
in their age group
races. There is post
season opportunities to
be part of a national
team made up of athletes
from our conference.

Scholastic
Achievement Award
In an effort to
emphasize the
importance of
maintaining
scholastic ability
in conjunction with
athletic ability,
The Santa Clarita
Track Club, Inc, in
cooperation with
local school
districts, awards a
scholastic
achievement medal to
all active athletes
that maintain a 'B+'
(3.5) grade point
average or better
during the season.
The medal is
engraved with the
student's name, year
and symbol of the
sport in which
he/she is
participating. A
special President's
award medal is
presented to players
that maintain
straight A's
You must submit the
following
Scholastic form
before the deadline
in order to get the
medal
the Deadline for
turning in your
forms to be eligible
for the award is
October 26 at the
end of practice.

This weekend's meet is
on Sunday October 18th,
This will be our only
SUNDAY meet,
This meet also requires
us to
pre-register our
athletes who will be
competing this weekend,
we must turn that
information in Tuesday
after practice, if you
plan on attending this
meet, we must know
Monday or Tuesday at
practice. if you are
unable to attend
practice, please be sure
to send David Summer an
email or call

him know if your going
to be at this meet.

Photographers needed
We need your digital
pictures for our memory
DVD, please be sure to
take a lot of pictures
of the kids at the meets
and practice, and turn
them in to Alan. I have
thumb drives or blank
CD's if you need.
