Lap-a-thon
Our lap-a-thon is scheduled for September 13, at Valencia High School at 5:30 pm. This is our primary fund raiser event, This fund raiser helps us keep our price low, allows us to offer scholarships, and assist our athletes in national competition.
We ask every family to seek pledges either by flat rate or a per lap donation. The athletes run 1 hour, later they return to their donors and collect their pledges to turn in by the dead line.
We will award a grand prize to the athlete who raises the most funds. Every athlete who raises $40.00 will also win a prize.
The deadline to be eligible for the grand prize is September 28th. Athletes who raise $40.00 or more will still be eligible to win a lap-a-thon prize even if they turn in the funds after September 28th.
Song Requests: We are taking requests. If you have a song you want to hear during the lap-a-thon, please send me an email so I can make sure I have it, * We may not be able to get to all songs requested.

First Meet
Our first meet will be
this weekend at Pierce
College, it is an
Invitational meet which
means that some clubs
from the USATF will be
there. Please try to
arrive by 8:00 am,

Uniforms
We will be passing out
uniforms this Monday &
Tuesday. Athletes who
ran our 2010 Track
season should already
have your uniform,
unless you have already
made arrangements with
Bettie Jo, you will not
be getting a new uniform
for cross country.
We will be handing them
out on Monday at
practice (6:00 -
7:30) and on Tuesday
from (6:00 -
6:30 only). Bettie Jo
will be unable to be
here on Thursday.
Please reply to this
email if you are unable
to pick up your uniform
on Monday or Tuesday so
we can make arrangements
for you.

Jelly Beans
Each year we ask that
parents give 2 bags of
Jelly Beans or Jolly
Ranchers for after work
outs, we have plenty of
Jolly Ranchers left over
from our Track season
and are just now in need
of Jelly beans, we are
going to ask for 1 bag
per family of Jelly
beans, and if we need
more to finish the
season off, we will send
out another request
later.
