Grand Lake Colorado
|
Hey team,
Man, what a bummer missing
the Corriganville race. I
heard from Coach David there
were a lot of great races
and even some rattlesnake
excitement with the youth
boys. Great job, way to run
hard and fast! I can't wait
to hear from each of you
when I get back. Or even now
if you want to share your
great race with me, shoot me
an email.
So we are on vacation
currently up in the Rocky
Mountains at Grand Lake
Colorado. What a beautiful
place to train. We are at
8300 feet of elevation, at a
house right on the lake with
amazing right from our dock.
Truly blessed. It makes me
think of the blessing it is
to be able to run. Me and
the rest of the Stepan's
will be running every day on
amazing trails that go
around the lake, and through
meadows and up steep trails.
Most certainly we'll see
plenty of wildlife, they say
the moose have been around,
so that will be cool as
well. My hope for each of
you is that running becomes
such a part of your life you
just can't live without.
That you'd enjoy it so much,
even when you are on
vacation you can't help but
get out and explore the
trails and wildlife around
you. You don't have be on
vacation though so as you
train this week, enjoy
running. Each step, each
breath, each discussion with
your friends, enjoy it!
I will be back in town for
this coming meet so I am
definitely looking forward
to seeing you race again
soon. In the meantime, enjoy
Coach David's leadership and
run hard. With only 4 meets
left, there's still a lot of
time to make big
improvements!
