Storm Team,

What did you think of Woodley?  I thought it was amazing and apparently all of the athletes did as well.  That course brought out the best in our kids as you can see in the results with a lot of our team moving up in the rankings.  Fast times for sure, but remember in XC it's all about position.  Bantams and Midgets for sure saw some big time drops, some of them running 30 seconds faster on dirt then they did on the track last Spring!

I'll go through this a little more at practice to highlight some amazing performances, but to sum it up, YOU GUYS ARE IMPROVING AND ARE KILLING IT!

Thanks to our incredible parents who serve every week coaching and supporting your kids!  This is definitely a team effort and I am very happy to see the family aspect of XC continuing to be as strong as ever!  That's because of everyone!

Looking forward, 3 Weeks into the season and we are down to 4 remaining races with Corriganville coming this week.  This weekend is a great course and a great park.  Unlike Woodley, this is a great spectator course so parents get ready with your camera's.  If you want to check the course out on Youtube go to this link for the 3k course: and this link for the 2k/4k course:

Training this week we will start hammering the hills more to set us up for MT. Sac, which rivals Pierce College.  Bring some extra water and electrolyte drink to work harder.  It should be a cooler week in the mid to upper 80's so training will be incredible and with you guys working so hard I expect an amazing week!

I still have more water bottles that I will bring to practice tomorrow, make sure you are reminding your athletes to take your $10 bottles home after practice.

If you have any questions, please shoot me an email or feel free to ask me at practice.

I'm very proud of this team and as we move forward we are all carrying on the tradition of the best team in the Universe!

On that note, to infinity... and beyond!

Until next time,

Coach Jeremy
