What a great weekend, we had about 22
athletes take advantage of the
Invitational meet and I saw many of them
qualify for league finals.
I took some pictures while I was there,
so take a chance to view them by
clicking the link at on the left on the
website.
it was a great meet for those who went,
next year I encourage you to attend this
conference wide event.

This Weeks Meet is at home
Our track meet this week is at
home, we will need everyone's
help! Set-up will be a big part.
Parents; volunteers are
needed to arrive at 07:00
am to help out. If you have
a truck I could use you
early at 6:30 in the parking
lot, I will be timing the
foothill league championship
meet Friday night and will
not have a chance to load my
truck like I did last time,
so we will need to pick up
the tents and other
equipment from the storage
across the street.
 Please
see Terisa at practice and ask
how you can assist us. She will
have a volunteer assignment
sheet needing your input! We
have 7 pop-up tents that need to
be setup, long jump sand pits
needing to be turned and raked
smoothly, we need to setup
timing tents and all the
equipment, move all that stuff
from the end of the track to the
timing area, staging tents, move
to the benches to the center of
the field, shade tents up in the
stands for our athletes, set the
cones around the jogging lane,
hurdles need to be setup, you
get the picture, there's a lot
of work. We will need a crew to
stay until the end to help take
everything down and get it moved
across the street back into
storage. Your volunteer
contribution in a meet is a
great example to your athlete of
what a team effort can
accomplish.

Lap-a-thon
On Monday
night, April 23rd! We ran
for 1 hour while a DJ played music! it was a
great night. The athletes did a great job
and I saw everyone having a great time.
The funds for the
lap-a-thon are due this week
When turning in money, we
ask that only ONE CHECK PER FAMILY, payable
to SCTC, be written for the
entire amount the athlete has raised.
(Sponsor check donations written
directly to the club by non-members may not
be credited to your child. )
You can download
another pledge form here the due
date to turn in the funds is May 3rd. Flat
donations can be turned in immediately.
Prizes will be awarded based on the most
funds raised and turned in
by May 3rd 7:45pm. Funds will still be
accepted after that date but won't count
towards the grand prizes.

Board of Directors Nominations
The club is
seeking nominations for the board of
directors, we will be having a general
membership meeting next month to elect a
slate of candidates to the board of
directors. If you are interested in any of
the positions Please contact Alan Bingham
We will be
having our Annual General Membership meeting
in 2 weeks. We will be voting on new board
members.
