Greetings!

I hope you had a wonderful holiday season, and as we come to the end of the year, I wish the best of everything for your family.

I have just a few important things that I want to touch on briefly and then they will be explained in greater detail below.

The Santa Clarita Track Club is the largest Youth Track & Field team in the Santa Clarita Valley. We are currently accepting signup for our 2011 season that will start in February.

Like last year we will not be having a walk in registration. If you need to meet with someone, to help you register your children for the 2011 Track & Field Season Starting in February 2011, you can reach me at 661-513-3719

Forward to a Friend  Please forward to 5 friends!
Your word of mouth is the best recommendation we can have. Plus we'd like to make sure that your children's friends make it on the team.  Our flyers are scheduled to go out in late January if the team has not filled up.

As we all come to a close of the year, many people are looking for charitable organizations to give gifts to, we are a tax exempt 501(c)3 charitable organization and donations made to us are 100% tax deductible, if you need a write off we would sure like the support for our many programs.

Mardi Gras Madness 5k Run
Mardi Gras Madness LogoJoin us as we put on our first annual 5k run to raise funds to support our Students Off And Running (S.O.A.R.) Program.

The Santa Clarita Track Club's SOAR program establishes running groups at participating SCV high schools and implements a six month 380 mile training program at no cost to participants or their families. Each running group operates under the guidance of adult coaches who may be teachers, school staff or community members and need not have prior running experience. The SOAR Running group maintains a 6:1 student-coach ratio allowing for valuable one-on-one adult-student interaction. Weekly goals are set in a non-competitive environment that stresses endurance building as opposed to speed. Starting with one mile the first week participants gradually run additional miles each week until they are prepared to take on the 26.2 mile Los Angeles Marathon.

Produced by the Santa Clarita Track Club with the generous support of the City of Santa Clarita and Bridgeport Marketplace, this 5K/1K event is open to walkers and runners of all abilities...and their canine companions, too!
